Pattern of Bank P.O. CWE
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has been authorized by Indian Bank's Association and is responsible for conducting Common Written Examination (CWE). The Common Written Examination(CWE) is for the recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees. The exam will be held twice a year.

The above tests except the Test of English Language and Descriptive Paper on English Composition will be printed bilingually, ie English and Hindi. The Descriptive Papers of only those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective tests will be evaluated.
Negetive Marking:
For each wrong answer marked there is panelty of 0.25 marks, therefore accuracy is the name of the game.
Minimum Cut Off Marks:
It is necessary to qualify each of the section saperately in the Objective Test. In the previous IBPS P.O. Exam the minimum cut off marks in each section was 24 marks (for General) and 21 marks (for others).
Total Weighted Score:
It is also necessary to obtain the minimum qualifing marks in Total Weighted Score. The Total Weighted Score in previous IBPS P.O. Exam was 120.
